Design Notes

Stop codon at the end of dspB was removed to ensure expression of the rsaA C-terminal secretion tag.


Source

BBa_K081005 was designed by Lorenzo Pasotti and Paolo Magni from Team UNIPV-Pavia 2008. IDT synthesized dspB so as to codon optimize it for expression in Caulobacter crescentus. The C-terminal secretion tag from rsaA is from the genome of the Caulobacter lab strain CB15N.
